It’s Mental Health Awareness Month!
In today’s fast-paced educational environment, mental health is no longer just a personal issue, it’s a professional priority.
Roselle Schools recently reached out to kid-grit to design and facilitate a Virtual School Assembly experience for three of their elementary schools during the spring of 2021.
“We found ourselves in a new space with new demands, and Roselle was open to innovative ideas about bringing kids together in a virtual school assembly format,” said Julia Gabor, Mindful Founder of kid-grit.
“Our students and staff responded extremely well to kid-grit’s holistic approach to student development,” stated William Jones from the Roselle School System. “kid-grit delivered interactive activities related to the Pandemic, which provided learning and sharing opportunities for our students. In the virtual format, kid-grit was successful in bringing our students and staff back together in a truly connected experience. We were so happy with the student and staff experience and response that we contracted kid-grit to provide workshops during our in-person summer program at four of our locations serving K-10th grade students.”
