We have learned a lot over the last 4+ years. Social-emotional learning (SEL) practices are enhanced when research-based tools and training are purposeful and aligned to support staff and students. Building communities of practice (or professional learning communities) offers an environment and a systemic approach designed to help school leaders focus their work on developing the whole child. ASG has the experience and enthusiasm to embed SEL practices into the curriculum while enhancing school climate and culture, creating a model approach for partners. In addition, ASG has a track record of working in a variety of non-education settings as well.
