Minimum of 5 people per session

  • Participants will need access to a device with a camera, laptop or computer preferred over a smartphone.
  • Participants should be in a quiet place to be able to learn, participate in conversations and share their ideas freely.
  • Participants should come prepared with an open mind and a pen and paper for notetaking.
  • Participants should log on 10 minutes early to walk through any technical questions and learn how to use the Zoom platform.

First Steps to Adult Wellness and SEL

3:30 PM PST / 6:30 PM EST, Facilitator: Jeffrey L. Jordan, Audience: Adults

The sole purpose of this introductory coaching experience is to provide you with introductions to all of the keys to unlock the secrets to building a positive mindset, the nutritional knowledge to know exactly what your body needs and wants to function at its highest level, and how to develop a spiritual purpose and connection to something greater than yourself.

We will address:

  • Mind. You will shift your mindset, set clear Intentions, and develop your Vision for the healthiest version of yourself. We will examine fixed and growth mindsets and build into a benefit mindset which will serve you, your employees (if applicable), and your entire organization to operate at its highest efficiency.
  • You will learn the 3 most important aspects of nutrition and discover how exercise and movement can work can work effectively in your personal and professional life.
  • The Third Module: The third module of the course will introduce Connection/Spirit as an energy force and teach you daily rituals that will support a spiritual practice and connection to a greater purpose.
  • Lastly, we will share tips on how to balance your social and digital usage in this new time and new way of living in order to help you remain balanced and stay healthy as to not overexpose yourself and your family to too much screen time – which has research supporting the damage it can do over time.

Today’s world conditions have brought ourselves sitting in front of technology for the better part of the day. Take a break with Grace and move your body with breath and simple movements that you can use throughout your workday. Connect your mind, body, and community through this digital platform.

As we begin to facilitate virtual learning with our students, a heavy emphasis is being placed on academics. However, research has shown the importance of addressing the whole child.
